This was my first winter away from the Chesapeake and I really enjoyed Charleston. That enjoyment was made possible by the excellent care , maintenance , and service I got from Captains Choice Yachting. Captain Heath was knowledgeable ,responsive , and very detailed in pursuit of all maintenance , but most important there was nothing they could not fix ! His hands on direct approach provided better care and maintenance than I get at my marina at home, and from my dealer!

After over 30 years in the yachting industry it is an absolute pleasure to come along someone like Heath Hackett. I first met Heath at our facility in Newport Beach Ca. I was immediately impressed with the way Heath took his client through our vessel and looked into every detail as well as wanting to know about every aspect of the build process of the vessel his client was interested in building.
Our experience with Heath during the build process, delivery, offloading of the vessel, and commissioning made it obvious he brings a wide array of experience when it come to running boats, offloading new boats and taking them through the commissioning process.

We bought a 56-foot Carver yacht this past summer that is being docked at Charleston City Marina. As this is our first boat larger than a 27-foot bowrider, we needed to hire a licensed captain to teach us how to safely and proficiently drive the yacht, as well as a management company to fully maintain the boat in top-notch operating and detailing condition.
